- "Hello Ann, My well-worn tight-lacing red silk 1901 corset
that my corsetiere Sharon repaired, has arrived along with my new blue 1901. I
can't believe how beautiful both are. You, Sharon,
are a cross between an artist and a sorceress creating
pure body magic. I'll send pictures when I get time!"

custom corsetry
or even standard pattern corsets, we are happy to

- " I recently purchased a custom-made Elegant Line
Victorian style corset. I have had serious back problems
all my life and being a wee bit more mature hasn't helped
the pain any. A couple of you have seen me wear my new
purchase and have expressed an interest in corsets.
The lady that makes them came in from San Francisco &
custom fit me to meet my body measurements and support
needs. My corset trims my waist several
inches & my posture is great. I fully recommend Ann Grogan's ROMANTASY Corsetry services for the quality of workmanship and how much I
love the way I look & feel when I wear it- Dean especially
likes it (smile)." Lea (3/19/08)
Welcome to clients who are placing a deposit (or paying
a balance) for a fine custom corset ordered
from our exclusive Elegant Line and your favorite
corsetmaker.
These corsets are specifically designed for
those who appreciate superb quality and artistry in
technical design or finish by senior
members of our ROMANTASY
corsetiere team, maximum options, and personalized service. Below from left
to right are our Elegant Line senior team
members Sue, Sheri, Sharon, Jade
(and junior corsetier Jill, producing only for
our Fundamental Line) Please note that especially for
Elegant corsets, because
of the demand for our senior corsetieres, our production time
approximates one to two months. You may request an earlier date which
may require a fee for 'rush' service; please inquire.

Prior to deposit you must have already submitted via phone
(415-587-3863) or via email, your custom
measurements and final
details including basic corset style and shape,
embellishments, options,
fabric
and corsetmaker you have chosen from our fine
team. These final details
allow us to quote a total purchase price and approximate a
delivery date (unless you have requested and received
our agreement to deliver on a specific date).
We have by now received your authorization to bill
(at your option) either a half deposit, or the full
purchase price for the style, design, and corsetmaker
on our
team. We will do so personally at our location and not
on the checkout page of the cart. Please note that
starting spring, 2008, we now offer a savings of $40 for
your choice of a single layer unlined corset in any style
by senior corsetieres Sharon McCoy Morgan or Jade Locke,
or you may certainly opt for our recommended standard
fully-lined (bonding and double layer)corset which
substantially increases the strength of the
corset, and which is particularly suitable for those with
a waistline measuring 40" and more.
We invite you to use the page below; simply click on the
field "Continue" to go to the page for your contact
and payment option information:
submit a credit card (no American Express please).
Upon receipt of your order we will personally at our
San Francisco location input the advertised and
appropriate amount, and follow with an invoice for
your records. Payment may also be submitted by personal
check or Money Order mailed to: 2912 Diamond Street,
Suite 239, San Francisco, CA 94131.
Please note that all overbust styles require an interim
cotton muslin fitting
(a trial corset made in cotton twill according to
your measurements to test fit; for a moderate upcharge
we especially recommend a muslin for underbust styles
for our full-figure clients,
however any client is welcome to also order one). If you
cannot come to our San Francisco location or meet directly
with your corsetmaker in other US locations, then we are
able to mail the muslin with
detailed instructions for you to lace on, photograph,
then pin, mark, photograph again and return to us. That
becomes your final corset pattern. While we are unable
to guarantee perfect fit because you are then in charge
of that process, if you follow our instructions in the great majority
of cases the fit will be perfect.
Welcome to the truly magical world of corsetry, and to
the wonderful group of corset enthusiasts around the
world in whose good company your order places you!
