We introduce this page to memorialize the history of
modern-day corsets and corset companies with which we have
been affiliated in our business since 1990, and also to
present a few stellar examples of the corsets of yesteryear.
We also include with high regard and
certain sadness, two former ROMANTASY team members who
have passed on, Michael P. Garrod of True Grace Corset Co. and Ruth
Johnson of BR Creations.
These two individuals are among the very few who paved the way
for the rebirth of modern-day interest in corseting.

2010 with Ruth's passing, both individuals educated us about corsetry
and quality. They each ignited our curiosity about and
passion for this magical garment. They taught us well
about serious waist training. Each former corsetier
corset enthusiast friends around the world,
and thousands and thousands of fortunate clients who now
own a treasure if they own a True Grace corset or a
BR Creations corset. We solicit
