TRAINING PLAN - CORSET WEAR
[ORDER PAGE. Updated 7/21/15]

INTRODUCTION:

The Corset Wearing Plan is one of three services to assist those who wish to set up their own waist-training program, but who want to be sure they corset in a moderate way that ensures the best overall results.

Your Plan will be most likely to help accomplish reasonable weight loss and/or waistline-inch loss goals. We can assist you set those goals.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

Students should be in overall generally good to excellent health. We are unable to advise those with any type of heart problem or issue and serious problems of high blood pressure, or assist those with heart issues of any kind, circulation, hernia, chronic constipation, GERD or chronic acid reflux, leg or ankle swelling, asthma, or sometimes IBD issues.

WHAT IS IN THE PLAN?

Your final Plan is sent via email and covers three months. It details the daily hours and level of waist reduction to which you should lace down in your training corset. The Plan may or will or look something like the partial example below:

A copy of our detailed waist-training manual, Corset Magic: A Fun Guide to Trim Your Waist and Figure book is included with your Plan.

ON WHAT IS THE PLAN BASED?

The Plan is first based on your answers to a confidential questionnaire. It is then developed in reliance on honest answers. It is also based on the experiences of our 30 waist-training students, interviews with hundreds if not thousands of successful corset enthusiasts, and extensive research on waist training.

WHAT STYLE CORSET IS REQUIRED?

While you may train with any well-fitting underbust corset corset, we highly recommend that it be fully custom according to 8 to 10 or more measurements. It is sometimes possible to train comfortably with an "OTC" (over the counter, or readymade, standardized pattern corset), but usually it is not.

That is because some or many OTC corsets:

  • Have a U-shaped silhouette that causes the bottom edge to press down on your hipbone and lead to leg numbness,
  • May torque on your body,
  • May develop "hot spots" or pinching or rubbing on a certain area of your torso or skin,
  • Are not long enough in front to provide adequate lower tummy control, causing flesh to squish outward in an unsightly and unhealthy manner,
  • Will not provide as good of a fit that assures comfort because an OTC corset does not accommodates the unique hills and valleys of your individual torso: only a fully-custom corset can do that,
  • May not work for fuller-figures that request patterning out over the hip bone and derriere,
  • May not work once some progress is made in waist training, and now the "going is getting a little rough" when it becomes more challenging to lace down even a micro-inch more!

If for reasons of budget you began corseting or waist training with an OTC corset, please consider the following information.

ADVANCED WAIST-TRAINING OR CURVY CLIENTS WILL BENEFIT FROM
THE COMFORTABLE WASP/HOURGLASS-SILHOUETTE OF SENIOR CORSETIERE SHERI'S STYLING:

To advance to tight levels of lacing after progress has already been made, and to achieve a better fit for shorter and curvier torsos, please order corsetiere Sheri's underbust Victorian corset. Sheri patterns in the "wasp" silhouette which fits underneath the lowest rib and precisely reduces and targets the waistline.

We invite you to review the three lines of our field-tested, tight-lacing custom corsetry (Fundamental and Elegant) before purchasing from another less-experienced or less client-oriented business. We welcome custom corset inquiries and will use our best judgment to guide you to the proper corset - for you!
