PRESENTATIONS AND WORKSHOPS
"Thank you so much for inviting me to participate as a
model in your SCC workshop, and thank you for all you
have done to help the transgender community.I very much
enjoyed contributing to your presentation and I would be
very happy to volunteer again. If I ever make out to San
Francisco, I will be sure to drop by and say hello. Have a
pleasant day. Hugs!" JoAnn (10/1/09)
- "Hi Ann: Just wanted to say what a delight it was to
meet you and help out in your program! I got so much out
of it! Couldn't help but think of you as I was out for
dinner last night and munching on a salad! Hugz,"
Cheryl Marie (10/1/09)
- "You drew many compliments on your two presentations at the
Southern Comfort Conference. You've become a key
element to that conference program. I look forward to
your next presentation. Lynda (10/15/08)
- "I liked your point about being feminine as a
state of being, and not like a robe to put on and take
off. Everyone attending the (transgender)
Southern Comfort Conference does not anticipate transitioning (into
full-time MTF) but for those who do, we must explore
the entire personality and not just clothes and a wig.
It is a deep, and sometimes lengthy process. I found
both of your presentations interesting, informative, and
good food for thought. I look forward to the next
opportunity I will have to attend one of your
presentations. I enjoyed what you did, except the
length was insufficient and the setting less than ideal,
obviously beyond your control. You made it up-beat and
fun." Reba (10/15/08)
- "I was so happy how people got involved during
your "Clocked" workshop, and expressed their opinions.
I believe you evoked that by just being who you are. In
fact. I feel I've got to know you a lot better simply by
listening to the presentation. It so personal and relaxed.
I'm am so grateful that you came and spent all the time
and energy in being at our End of the Month TGSF meeting."
Anne Mortensen, former Ms. Transgender San Francisco
Over the years we have been enormously rewarded by our
teaching efforts and presentations concerning various
gender- and corset-related topics. We've lectured at national
transgender conferences such as Southern Comfort (multiple times in Atlanta),
IFGE (Phidelphia), First Event (Boston), Esprit
(Washington), Cal Dreamin (Long Beach, San Francisco, and
and at other national conferences such as
for Mensa and Lifestyles (Las Vegas). We always enjoy presenting an
informative, entertaining class using models and class
volunteers to involve everyone in learning "what not to
wear" and "what not to do", followed by alternate
behaviors that enlarge presentation and life options.
Our goal is always to
inspire positive lifestyle changes, safe exploration of gender,
and good physical,
emotional, and spiritual health.
Our basic presentation is one hour in length but can be
tailor-made to fit your conference or lecture schedule.
We are available to offer the following corset
or image-related lecture topics for local gatherings,
or national conferences. Please contact us with your
proposed meeting dates, suggested topics, and
If you don't see the topic you desire us,
kindly send your specific ideas and we are happy to develop
a unique workshop for your specific audience and needs.
While our normal fee is $100 per hour, we provide a
number of workshops each year as part of our community
service; please inquire.
