INTRODUCTION:

Brides-to-be will appreciate our detailed pre-wedding advice on how to present the most lovely image on their wedding day! Pictured left is our glamorous bride Audrey, in her fashion-forward black wedding Victorian corset by Sharon for ROMANTASY.

Comfort is of paramount importance for enjoying your entire special day while corseted, and our Bridal Care Booklet will tell you how to achieve this goal.

Whether you wear your corset as part of your wedding gown (pictured above), or for slimming as a foundation garment under your gown, our booklet is dedicated to your happiness, comfort, and health!

TOPICS THAT ARE COVERED:

  • How to educate your photographer and obtain the best photographic record of your figure and ensemble.
  • How to pose for pictures that show off your figure and gown to the best advantage.
  • Items you should have in the dressing room to handle last-minute issues such as caused by deodorant or unintended spotting of your corset or gown.
  • How and when to don and lace down your corset compared to the hour you want to walk down the aisle.
  • How to don the corset so no glaring errors are obvious to "those-in-the-know" about proper corset wearing.
  • How to properly position the back protector panel and tie the lacing ribbons.
  • How to lace the corset to lift the body and improve posture rather than create a protruding belly.
  • A proposed schedule for slowly and comfortably tightening the corset to the ultimate waist size you desire.
  • Last-minute dressing secrets to help maximize comfort.

Of course we also provide information on how to season your corset properly for a few days or better, weeks in advance of the wedding, to improve comfort. We also advise on how and what to eat on your wedding day and at the reception, in order to avoid fatigue, headaches, and heart burn.

IF YOU WANT TO WAIST TRAIN FOR A SMALLER WAIST BEFORE YOUR WEDDING DAY:

We briefly discuss how best to encourage permanent figure-trimming. However, you may wish to order a simple underbust Victorian waist-training corset by Sheri (about 6-8 weeks to produce), by Jill (about 10-12 weeks to produce), or by Sharon (8-10 weeks to produce), a few months before the wedding, or read our more detailed book on this topic, Corset Magic: A Fun Guide to Trim Your Waist and Figure.

The steps outlined in the book for effective waist training are suitable for the corseted, as well as the non-corseted, bride-to-be. You can immediately incorporate some waist training with our sound nutrition and waist-targeted exercise advice.

INCLUDED WITH YOUR BOOKLET PURCHASE:

Purchasers of our Guide may email up to five images of how you position your corset during the test fitting and seasoning process, and sample poses you may strike for wedding photography. We will offer individualized feedback and further advice.

THE EDUCATED CORSETED BRIDE:

Among the images below, can you identify two brides and the obvious errors regarding the fit of their corset, how they laced their corset on, or how they posed? (We see at least six problemmatic corset images.) These errors reduced the potential artistry of the picture or the bride's figure. Two correct and we'll gift you a wedding corset magnet. Please email your six answers and we'll gift you with a FREE copy of this booklet!
